Who we are
This website, krewpoint.com, is run by Pelagus Works LLC, the maker of Krew Point. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Pelagus Works LLC. You can reach us at hello@krewpoint.com.
This policy covers the website. It does not cover the Krew Point office app or crew app. When a company uses the apps, that company’s agreement with us says how we handle its data.
What the form collects
You can read this site without telling us who you are. When you send the Book a Demo form, we get what you type or pick:
- Your company’s name, your name and your role.
- Your kind of work and how many people would use it.
- What you want to use, whether you want your own app, and anything else you tell us.
- Your email, and your cell number if you give one.
- The best way and time to reach you.
The form also sends a few details about your visit, so we know what brought you here:
- The page the form was on, and the first page you opened on this visit.
- The site that sent you here, if your browser shares it.
- The tags on an ad or a link you followed, such as utm_source.
- When you opened the form and when you sent it.
When your request reaches us, we add a reference number, the date and time, and the country it came from.
The Sign In page sends nothing and keeps nothing. It only checks what you type, in your browser.
What every visit sends
Like any website, this site gets some technical details each time your browser asks for a page: your IP address, your browser and device type, the page you asked for and the time. Cloudflare, the company that runs our servers, uses them to deliver pages, block attacks and show us totals, such as how many visits the site gets.
When you send the form, three checks make sure a person sent it:
- A spam check from Cloudflare, called Turnstile, on the form’s last step. It looks at your browser and your connection to tell a person from a bot. It does not read what you type.
- A limit on how many forms can come from one IP address, or one email, in a minute.
- A hidden box that only bots fill in, and a check on how fast the form was sent. A form that looks like a bot sent it is thrown away.
We do not put ads, analytics or tracking code on this site.
Why we use it
We use your information to:
- Set up your demo, answer your questions and give you a price.
- Reach you the way you asked: by email, a call or a text.
- Learn which pages and links bring people to us, so we can make the site better.
- Keep the site and the form safe from spam and attacks.
- Follow the law.
We do not use it for anything else.
Where it goes and who sees it
Two companies help us run the site and the form. They handle your information for us:
- Cloudflare runs our servers and the spam check, and keeps a backup copy of each demo request.
- Google Workspace runs our email. Each demo request is emailed to our hello@krewpoint.com inbox.
Cloudflare also uses what its spam check sees to make that check better, under its own privacy policy.
These companies may store information in the United States or in other countries.
On our team, only the people who answer demo requests see them. We share your information with anyone else only when the law requires it, such as for a court order.
We never sell your information, and we never share it for ads.
How long we keep it
If you do not become a customer, we keep your demo request for up to two years after we last talk with you. Then we delete it.
If you become a customer, your company’s agreement with us says how long we keep what you shared.
What this site keeps in your browser has its own times, listed under Cookies and browser storage below.
Your choices
Write to hello@krewpoint.com to:
- See the information we have about you.
- Fix anything that is wrong.
- Delete your information.
- Ask us to stop contacting you.
We answer within 30 days. We may need to check that the request comes from you before we act on it.
You can also clear what this site keeps in your browser at any time, in your browser’s settings.
How we respond to Do Not Track signals
Some browsers can send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. We do not follow you across other sites, sell your information or share it for ads, so there is nothing for the signal to turn off. The site works the same either way.
We do not let other companies use this site to collect information about what you do over time and across other sites.
How we keep it safe
The site and the form use an encrypted connection (HTTPS). The spam check and the limits help keep bots out.
Only our team can open the inbox and the backup copy where demo requests are kept. The form’s own logs never record what you typed.
No website is perfectly safe, so we cannot promise that nothing will ever go wrong. If your information is ever exposed, we will tell you as the law requires.
Children
This site is for businesses. It is not for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may change this policy. When we do, we post the new version on this page and change the date at the top.
